Ryan Harris retired from the NFL as a 10-year Veteran and a Super Bowl Champion. Ryan began his NFL career in 2007 when the Denver Broncos drafted him in the third round and he ended his career on March 3, 2017, with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Ryan played in 114 NFL games and started 70 of them. During his career on the field, Ryan overcame several physical challenges including 10 surgeries. It would have been easy to quit as he crawled up the stairs of his home unable to walk after his back, toe, and leg surgeries, but he knew that his work on the field was not done. Ryan’s hard work and persistence paid off in 2016 when he started all 19 games at Offensive Tackle for the Super Bowl 50 Champion Denver Broncos team. Ryan spent his entire life and career fighting to defy the odds, most notably with a 10-year career, when the NFL average is 3.3 years. While in the NFL, Ryan played for the Denver Broncos, Houston Texans, Kansas City Chiefs, and the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played college football at the University of Notre Dame and high school football at Cretin-Derham Hall High School in St. Paul, Minnesota.
